We celebrated the Saturday after his birthday with a dinner at home with family.
His birthday "day" began with our traditional birthday breakfast. The birthday boy requested chocolate chip pancakes with butterscotch chips.
Birthday breakfasts on school mornings are harder to come by, but we still make it happen.
That Saturday, Justin cooked and we had family over for dinner and cake. The weather wasn't wonderful, but we celebrated our second born and rejoiced that he has blessed us for these past 9 years.
