We arrived at Ella and Bob's around 4:30 and within no time the boys were playing in the pool, sans bathing suits. First they said they didn't want to get in the pool, then Cooper got some water on him and was complaining, and the next thing we knew they were both soaking wet and having a blast. Auntie Ella was nice enough to loan them a couple of her hats, which they wore the whole weekend.
After pizza for dinner (thank you, pizza man!) we sang happy birthday to Kelsey and had some carrot cake. The boys were more inquisitive about Kelsey and the whole weekend than in past years. They both drew her a picture before we left.
Saturday was more pool time and the KLK pool party VIII. We blew up a little inflatable pool for the boys, and they split their time between it, the big pool and socializing.
We also managed to squeeze in some tricycle riding, and a few naps. We are so glad Bob and Ella let us take over their house this way (we really did...we ended up being in all 3 of the extra bedrooms.)
