Little Monsters

The boys and I spent two days in San Antonio last week visiting Tabitha, Ethan and Avery. The kids had fun up until our last morning when it seemed like they'd had enough of each other. Tabitha's Aunt Cynde took us all out to eat at a Chinese Buffet our first night. My boys very rarely go out to eat and have never had Chinese food, so they were very excited. Cooper picked out about 7 desserts and was most impressed with the chocolate pudding, "Mom, you've got to try this."

Once we had been home about a day, it was clear that we had brought something back with us from their house--a stomach bug! Avery had been a little sick and the boys both started diarrhea over the weekend. It was beautiful weather but we spent most of Saturday and Sunday indoors.

Cooper is doing really well with his writing and coloring. He writes his name all by himself, only sometimes putting the 'C' backwards. He will color pictures carefully, doing each object a different color and holding his crayon the correct way. He can also count to 100, and almost knows the days of the week and months by heart.

Brayden can count to about 15 but almost always leaves out 8--I have no idea why. He can also sing the abc's.

Cooper is very excited about his birthday coming up. So much that I had to tell him exactly how many days until his birthday and party. Luckily, the party is two weeks before his actual birthday. :)
