Christmas Eve, Sid came over and then we went to a candlelight service at our church. Christmas Day, the boys were so excited for Santa to come. They played with their new Lego tables and Daddy built a house with Lincoln Logs (Papa Sid).
The weekend before Christmas was a busy one for us. Rachel came in Friday night, along with Rick and Amy, and we all met over at Mumu and Pop's for soup and bingo. It was such a good time. Julia and Jeremiah came in also, and Cooper and Brayden were so excited to see Eli. They all three played and played. It was the first time they've really played that way.
Saturday at lunch time we had the Petty Christmas at Mumu and Pop's. Then that evening, we had the Big Fohn Christmas at Aunt Janet's. Sunday was another Fohn Christmas.
And Justin and I gave everyone the best news...we're having a baby! Brayden got to announce everywhere he went that he's going to be a big brother. It took a few people a minute to catch on. But it's such exciting news to give.
We told the boys about the baby Saturday morning. I had the video camera set up and couldn't wait to see their reactions. We tell them, and...Cooper immediately says he wants a sister. Brayden says, "I want my sword." Well, what can we expect from a two year old?
(A little note about these pictures. My tree is only decorated halfway up to prevent any little fingers from snatching ornaments down.)
