Come On, Kids!

Cooper has a Little People school bus that he loves to play with. And, he has actually named the “kids” (as he calls them)! Justin swears he didn’t prompt this. There are three kids and the names are Pete, Carol and Mark. Cooper used to mainly only ask to “play cars” and now he takes our hand and says “play bus” or “play kids”. The kids are always either going home or going to school. And he knows their names and doesn't get them confused--if one is missing he will say "where's Pete?", etc. It is too cute!

On Friday Brayden decided to spit out all of his cereal. Every bite I gave him he would immediately blow like he was doing a spit bubble and the cereal went everywhere. I would have taken it as a sign he wasn’t that hungry except he had been demanding food before that.

Brayden’s schedule right now is two long naps of about two hours, one in the morning and one in the evening. His sixth month birthday was yesterday and he still has no teeth! He is getting much better at sitting up for a few minutes by himself. I took him to the doctor on Thursday for the eczema on his face and arm and he weighed 17 lbs. He goes to bed around 7:30 pm and sleeps until 4:30 or 5:30 in the morning for a feeding, then back to sleep.

Saturday, Cooper found the house shoes that Memaw gave him for Christmas but that are too small and tried to wear them. I was able to squeeze his feet in them long enough for him to walk around the house a little.
