Last week the boys and I were taking care of business. We spent a day in Austin getting their yearly checkups--all three boys visited the doctor, but only Lucas got shots. He was not pleased to have the honor, but he did tell the story to every family member we saw the rest of the week.
That same day, we were in Bastrop also. We met Aunt Megan at the bank and ran into my old boss, Reid Sharp. He mentioned that he might have some work for the boys to do, and they jumped at the chance. So he took them back and I stayed up front with Lucas and Megan. When they came back around, they each received a $5 for their hard work!
We left the bank and the next stop was for sno-cones. Each little boy picked his flavor, placed his order and got to pay the "son-cone man". I had to approve the orders beforehand, though, since Brayden declared he was ordering a "jumbo" and Lucas had his heart set on a large.
But our day wasn't over! Our last stop was to hang out with Aunt Katlyn (she was house-sitting at Justin and Laura's for the week while they are in Destin). We went swimming and ate pizza and went backwards down the slide.
