Peppa Pig Live!

Wednesday evening the entire Voigt Family made its way to Austin City Limits theater to see Peppa Pig Live! and in person. (Thank you, Auntie!)

Except, of course, she wasn't exactly in person since she's not real. We had this conversation several times before the show because Brayden was mistakenly referring to it as the Peppa Pig Alive show. 

Then he wanted to know when exactly Peppa Pig became "alive"?

So I would correct him and explain that it's a live show, on stage, not on TV. 

Lucas jumped on the bandwagon quickly and told anyone who would listen that he was going to see Peppa. Pig. Yive! (Live)

(That's exactly how he says it. He emphasizes each word and pauses in between them. Maybe for emphasis??)

It was adorable. The costumes were so realistic and true to the show. The biggest hit for Lucas was Mommy and Daddy Pig. Whenever one of them would leave the stage he would ask, "Where Daddy Pig go?" Cooper and Brayden enjoyed it as well.

But the biggest hit for us all was Mr. Bull!! He was HUGE and funny and we all cracked up. They wouldn't allow any pictures so I don't have any of the performance, but I'm posting a couple of pictures of what the characters look like and a few shots we took going in.  

 We had a beautiful evening together!
