His first game was the end of September. They practiced on a Thursday and the first game was two days later. Brayden was very uneasy at the first practice and Justin was out on the field with him most of the time.
By Saturday he had thrown off all that hesitation and come into his own. There is simply no other way to describe him other than a BEAST. He loves the game and it shows. He puts all his heart and soul into it and you just know he is taking pleasure in every minute of the game. (It doesn't hurt that he has his own fan club as well!)
Justin and I are both surprised how much we are getting out of it, too. As much as I love seeing Justin coach our boys in TBall, it is equally fulfilling to see Daddy cheering from the sidelines. And at practices I just sit back and enjoy watching my precious boy learn and grow and interact with the other kids.
We have a little boy on the team who is from England and LOVES futbol...and then his mom gently corrects him--"it's soccer, honey".
But we don't mind...after all, we're Peppa Pig fans. :)
