On a Friday in early April, we had a family day in Austin. Cooper wanted to celebrate his birthday at Mt. Playmore, Gatti's Pizza and Dairy Queen (for dessert) so that's exactly what we did.
We headed in around lunch time and ate all the pizza our tummies could handle. Then we hit up Mt. Playmore. Lucas didn't really want to climb in the playscapes at all, which was a little disappointing, but Cooper and Brayden had the time of their lives running and chasing and playing. We all spent about an hour in the arcade area and then decided we better head out.
Before dessert, we visited Academy to pick out a bicycle for the birthday boy. He finally made a choice--a shiny red one.
After five mini blizzards, we were all ready for home.

It was sweet, hearing how excited Cooper was the night before the big day, saying to Brayden, "It's going to be so much fun" and then that night, telling Justin and me "Thank you, mom and dad, for taking us there."
