Galveston!!

We just returned from 5 days of blissful vacation with the Moore clan. The biggest news to report from the trip is this: the boys were absolutely, positively wonderful. They behaved so well, got along with each other so well and I just can't say enough good things.

We got to the beach house late Saturday afternoon. Kevin and Carla, Macy and Lexi were already there, and Tiffany and Kelsey came Sunday afternoon. KJ didn't get to come until Tuesday. Every morning after breakfast we would leisurely make our way to the beach.

Cooper and Brayden absolutely loved the beach. They dug holes and filled them with water, ran in and out of the ocean (but never went too far in) and played with the "mud", making soup and other dishes.

We would build mounds up with the wet sand and the boys called them islands, and they'd stand on top and scream when the water would come up around them. Since it is early May, the water was still pretty cold, but otherwise the weather was just so nice. Sunny and not too hot!

It was such a difference from last year at the beach. They just played so well and enjoyed themselves so much more. The house had lots of decks and porches, and the weather was so beautiful that even at the house we would just sit on the deck and they'd play with their cars.
