Life is a Highway

March has brought us beautiful weather! The Cooper car has gotten a lot of miles on it in the past few weeks. Justin brought it out one Thursday evening and raised the speed (it goes in a slow and fast speed). He also showed Cooper how to go in reverse. That evening, we sat on the front porch for close to an hour and watched Cooper drive Brayden around. It was hilarious. Cooper quickly caught on to driving the car, and would zip around trees and cut corners like he'd been doing it his whole life. He liked going in reverse so much that he would purposely head toward a tree or other object just so he could back up. And the whole time, Brayden was just along for the ride.

We celebrated Cooper's birthday a little early and had his party March 16th at Fisherman's park. Despite some uninvited guests (bees and wind) it was a nice party. Pirate themed, of course! Cooper really enjoyed breaking the piñata.
